Easy at-home application. Here’s how the KERAZUL keratin treatment works.

How to in 7 steps

  1. Clarify the hair

    Wash your hair 2–3 times with KERAZUL® Clarifying Shampoo.

  2. Blow-dry completely

    Blow-dry completely on medium heat.

  3. Apply the treatment

    Apply KERAZUL® Keratin Treatment evenly. Comb out any excess with a comb.

  4. Wait 20 minutes

    Leave it on for 20 minutes so the actives can penetrate the hair.

  5. Blow-dry again

    With the treatment still in the hair, blow-dry completely again on medium heat.

  6. Flat iron

    Flat iron each section 5 times with a ceramic straightener such as the KERAZUL® Glacé Pro.

    430°F / 220°C for normal or stubborn hair, 390°F / 200°C for color-treated hair, 350°F / 180°C for bleached or very fine hair.

  7. Enjoy the result

    With KERAZUL® Smoothing Shampoo you can wash right after the treatment. Keep using it with Smoothing Conditioner so the smoothing lasts longer.
